Too harsh? Well, scotch is very similary to tequila. When most people think of tequila, they think Jose Cuervo. For the folks who find Jose harsh and bitter, I make them try a shot of Patron. In most cases, they look at me and say "This is tequila? Holy crap, I never knew!" Scotch is much the same. If you have never sampled the finer single malts (not the more common blended scotch), please do so and then render a final decision. If you have already done so, I will then be content with your preference for a good Kentucky bourbon (which I also sometimes really enjoy). Many years ago I visited the Jack Daniels brewery, amazing place with a great history and in a beautiful part of the country.

Tequila??? - nothing better than Don Julio Blanco - the smoothest tequila ever made - and the most dangerous tequila ever made.

glad you enjoyed your libations my friend and an excellent Dune story. Loved the literary series - with you on the movie (right in the middle). Great story though. I'm stuck drinking dewers tonight, so i am still jealous over your fine single malt evening.
